It’s been two years since our wedding day and while pictures have started to fade…The memories and our light continues to shine.
In some ways it’s really hard for me to believe it’s been two years. So much of our wedding and the time leading up to our wedding is so fresh in my mind…It could have happened yesterday. I can’t help but smile at the memories. I’ll never forget waiting in the bride’s room for the wedding to begin, watching my bridesmaids go down the isle one by one, standing in the hall, just dad and I, waiting for the ushers to open the door, the calmness that I felt once Bryan had my hand, lighting our unity candle and finally being pronounced husband and wife. In our minds, especially at the time, the day couldn’t have gone better.
In other ways a lot has happened in two years and sometimes I feel like it’s been ten. I’m sure that Bryan feels the same way! We’ve grown a lot in these past two years. Some of it has been trial and error. Some of it has just been error. We’ve learned a lot about true friends, loving each other first, incorporating God into our lives, managing our money…like adults, communicating, sacrificing, making important decisions, supporting each other, but most of all we’ve learned to live in the present day and enjoy this moment because thing can change so very quickly!
I couldn't be more proud of the people we've became, the love we share, the friends we have and the life we have built. I would call it a successful year two!
