We scrap for the therapy. The walks down memory lane and the quiet reflection it allows us. It helps us keep our mind on something simple and for a few short hours we’re not thinking about bills or the house or even what I have to do tomorrow. It’s simple honest creativity and time just for us.
We scrap for the memories. While we may have only lived a quarter century, in that time we've both see some great things, been to interesting places and have had a thousand memorable moments. Because of this we scrap. We want to remember these things. Each individual little thing. We want our kids to remember these things. We want people to be able to see that we loved our life and find our souls on the pages of our books.
We scrap for the time spent with friends. Honestly this has been what has kept us going back to scrap. We rarely scrap alone. Where you find one of us scrapping you’ll nearly always find the other scrapping. Many long, wonderful conversations have been held amid scraps of paper, adhesive and piles of photos. We have the privilege of scrapping with two friends Julie and Alison. When the four of us crop together…we’re a force to be reckoned with. We’re blessed for these friends and blessed for the memories we’ve made simply being with them and scrapping.
